Just want to say thanks for sharing your talents with us in Charleston last night – I really enjoyed the show! It was a real treat to listen to such a gifted bunch of musicians and a truly uplifting experience!
I have some photos for you and am wondering how I can get them to you! I am the photographer in the picture you posted on your blog – next to the adorable bubble girls!
I also want to plant a little seed. I recently left my job (I was a newspaper photojournalist for five years) to travel around the country by train for a few months to gather story ideas and get my passion back. I guess you could say I was on tour with myself During this time, I met the official photographer for Michael Franti and have since been watching what he does for their marketing. He keeps a constant visual update of their tour by posting select photos from tour and video productions of most of the shows to their website and facebook page. I have watched this and think it is brilliant marketing – fans become hooked and come back time and time again to follow the latest visual updates and to comment on the visual material that they know comes straight from the source – fans recognize that there is a difference between the official material and fan content.
I am not sure if you all would be able to fit one more person on your bus but it is something I would love for you to think about! I would be honored to be a part of your crew and help spread the word of how wonderful you guys are! I have professional gear for photography and video – and many years of experience!
Cheers and best wishes!

My company can “erase” the bad reviews I see and replace them with positive, glowing ones that help you increase sales and build your good name. And it’s all totally legal and legitimate, even if our approach is a little high-tech. Let me tell you about it with no charge, no obligation. Just click here.
Hey Aaron! Sorry, I never do anything like this but I have just felt so compelled to thank you for so long! ES&MZ is my absolute favorite band since I saw you guys for the first time at Sunset Junction last year. I adore your music but also just the love you exude and the hope you give me. As a whole you guys are amazing but I also have so much love and respect for you guys as individual musicians. I am particularly inspired by you and Jade. I met with you briefly at Design for Humanity and told you I loved your We Are Each Other stuff but I was too nervous to actually talk to you about it and I have been beating myself up ever since. I’ve had a very rough year but your music and spirit has helped me stay positive and you guys have genuinely made me a better person. I write WAEO on my hand every morning and truly try to live by it, or at least by what I interpret it to mean. My heart feels so much more free and ready to love all those around me. I love music so much but I’ve always just accepted that I didn’t have any musical talent until recently. Watching you guys perform soo much via youtube lit a spark in me that inspired me to learn a couple instruments which I am in the process of doing now and I am hooked. I can’t thank you enough for the impact you have had on my life this past year and i just want you to know how appreciated all your hard work and love is. I cannot wait to see you guys back in the Santa Barbara or LA area soon! I hope I get the opportunity to actually talk or spend a little time with you guys next time! I dream about hanging out with you beautiful people! Thanks for your time! So much LOVE
Ps. I found a video of you performing a solo song at the Bowery Ballroom that starts with ” I want to meet the maker…” last month and I cannot get enough of it!
I will definitely be there next time you play in southern california and hopefully I will get close enough to meet you again. You guys are getting bigger and bigger everyday but seem to stay so humble and stick to what you stand for. It’s amazing. Even through your normal human struggles just know how much your communal love is inspiring and comforting others. It definitely “carries on”‘ A great thing about this unity that you are contributing so much to is that your love builds others up and when you are feeling weak theirs can do the same for you. I’m sure those situations testing you are only going to make your sense of community stronger.
Hi Aaron! Sorry to bother you but what was the name of the book that good red road man is about? I’ve been interested in reading it since you talked about it at the echo but i can’t remember the name. Thanks so much! hope all is well!
